Looks like it would be worth trying to fix. Cut an access hole in the deck and glass the inside. Get some updated crossbar reinforcement plates and install at the rear crossbar. Also see if you can get some glass on the outside (it’s tough to do due to limited space under the lip.

Pretty common failure mode for bosts of that vintage.

Good luck with your repair. You’ll need to add the reinforcement plate kit to the beams and sidestay.

The reinforcement kit was discontinued by Hobie. Look for some used ones. Consider not installing ports, but cutting holes and then glassing them closed, like a pumpkin lid. Installing ports creates another service point for the boat.

Totally fixable though!
