I just got my eclipse today on sale because in transit the nose got smashed and needs to be repaired. It cracked through the hull and appears to have damaged part of the foam core. My local hobie dealer doesn't do repairs like this, and I am unsure what materials or process to do to fix it. Thanks. Any local surf shops? Boat marinas? This is basic fiberglass repair.

If I was looking to do it myself, could you provide insight into what materials I should use?

We have a repair kit that should have what you need. That kit has instructions.

72050009 SOLAREZ REPAIR KIT

I have a similar issue; would a fiberglass repair kit that I have for sailboats also work equally well? It has the mesh and a resin you paint on it. I do not need it to look nice, just seal it.

Thanks!!!
