Hey all,
I am new here. It has been long that I have been missing surfing and sailing. It is all because of a health that happened to me 6 months before and I have undergone treatment for a hernia from Shouldice ( http://www.shouldice.com/ ) at Canada in this regard. I am still under medicines for the same. Are there any ways of surfing or sailing with hernia problems? Will there be any problems if going for a sailing or surfing after a surgery? I have no idea what is to be done. The family is not letting me do. But I love doing this. I badly wanna surf and sail. Any suggestions for this. Please do share your suggestions. I am badly in need of your suggestions. I am losing weight these days. In all these situations , will it be safe to fulfil my desire?

Susan098,

Without any data on your "situation", it would be really hard to give you GOOD advice...

I was not allowed to lift over 40 pounds for weeks after my hernia surgery. This sport has components over that weigh limit.

So... depends on what your procedure was, and how much you want to risk.

Good luck!
