Hey all, new to the Eclipse - would like to add a front handle to the board to accommodate 2-person carry / launching (from dock) and also lifting to car. Would also double as a means to tie off the board (either on car or dock).

I've puttered around the Internet for ideas, but seems that they vary based on board construction. Figure I'd ask here to see if anyone has made such a modification and what if any recommendations folks might have in terms of products or styles they like.

Seems like an obvious improvement for Hobie to add in the future.

It seems that they already added it to the new model :)
Interesting if it can be added to the older model.

You should be able to epoxy a handle on. I see that many of the Inflatable RIB accessories are marketed for paddle boards as well. Just need the right epoxy/glue

72050012 BOW HANDLE KIT, ECLIPSE - Can this be added to the early 2016 Eclipse? The manual talks about "Locate the inserts for the carry handle on the front of the board." I don't see any such inserts?

Advice welcome! I have wanted a handle on the front since I got the board
