Post subject:  Sitting on Mirage Eclipse

Hi I am pretty new to SUP and am considering purchasing the Mirage Eclipse as it looks easier to learn. I have never been on a SUP. I plan to use it mostly on a 300 acre manmade lake.

Can you sit on the board to rest, take pictures, etc and then easily stand up without falling off or tipping the board?

Should I purchase one of those ankle cables?

Is it easy for a woman to carry?

I'm 5'9 is a 10 foot ok or should I get a 12 foot?

I don't have a roof rack, can I put it in the trunk (back seats fold down)?

Thanks

Yes, very stable. You can sit and get up again. Especially since it has the solid mounted handlebar to help you balance.

Weight and size makes using a dolly cart best for moving them. Just roll it on its side to insert the cart and then roll back onto the cart wheels.

You would have to measure the space within the back of the car. May work for a short distance, but generally you should not hang something out the back more than about 4 feet unless you also use a red flag on the extended portion.
