Post subject:  Hobie Eclipse in Super Bowl Commercial
Did anybody notice the Hobie Eclipse in JLo's Super Bowl / Hard Rock Hotel Commercial?

We had no idea THAT was coming! Big surprise. A very quick frontal view in the broadcast Commercial, but there is a full-length (Online) version with lots of the Eclipse in it. JLo pedals after a thief who stole her bling mug. Uses the Eclipse to catch the thief paddling a SUP in the Hotel pool. The guy says "JLo's fast!". Pedaling in her Stilletto heals!

Fun stuff! Created quite the company buzz last night.

My wife and I noticed that and I commented to her on Hobie’s very clever placement advertising. A unique product, modeled by a very well known celebrity, demonstrated as superior in performance to a SUP, and exposed to 100M viewers.

I was surprised from your post to learn this was not the genius of Hobie Marketing but just coincidental. Which means all the benefits of placement advertising without spending a dime!

Late to the party here, but yes I noticed it right away, I said to my family, "hey, she's on a Hobie"!!! Pretty cool!!!
