We have a Mirage Eclipse SUP. We also use the cart which fits into two holes that are located on the bottom of the board. One of the two metal prongs from the car that fit into the cart holes has poked a hole in the bottom of cart hole. Now the board is not level when pulling it around since one prong goes in deeper than the other and it make it harder to remove the cart from the holes.

Can water from the hole get into the board and do damage? If so, is there a known repair method for the problem? For example, add some type of material to fill in the hole at the bottom of the cart-hole (fiberglass, calk, epoxy)?

Thanks any advice will be appreciated!

Epoxy would fix this. Yes, seal before water damages it.
