I'm considering purchasing either a used revo 13 or new compass. I'd be interested in your thoughts on both comparing comfort, speed, stability and ease of handleing. I plan on using it for cruising as i not fish. Thanks. Adam

I went from a Revo11 to a Compass. But I am an inshore fisherman and the Compass is the absolutely perfect boat for me to do that. If I were just a cruiser, I'd have probably stayed in my Revo. The Compass is not as fast/efficient and it is much harder to load on my car than my Revo. It says it's only 4 or so pounds more than my Revo, but it feels like 30 when you factor in the extra width and length, combined with a lack of sturdy handles. Plus, you have a more adjustable seat in the Revo, so if you are out in snotty water or a headwind, you can drop the seat low.
