Capsized the Sport sailing and apparently did not have the seat clipped in.... anyone know of any seat solutions for the time being until my wife allows me to purchase a new seat?

Luckily I had the trax cart behind me for a back rest and was surprised how well it worked. I stayed out for about 45 min without the seat and it really wasn’t that bad. Perhaps some 2-3” foam and a foam wrap on the cart is all I need.

Lesson learned

I dont rely on that clip, I use a couple of stout cords from each back corner with SS clips to tankwell padeyes. Expensive lesson learned there

It sounds like the seat wasn't installed correctly either. The backrest straps should clip to the hull and not the seat itself. That'll keep it attached if you turtle.
