Thanks for your reply
Dave
Had a scary event with my new micro yesterday, I was in about 4' of water yesterday and pushed the down button and it went to full travel, it lifted my rear up and flipped my compass over on me. Luckily it didn't break my rods!
I did not double tap the remote ( this function does work).
This was my first outing with the micro. I had trouble with the setup. I called PP customer service and they said to download the app, I didn't see anything that would help.
Called them to complain and they are sending out a new unit. Hope this one operates correctly.
I will assume if you hold the down button, it will go all the way down until the knob at the top of the spike hits the unit. The double tap feature on the remote or the mountable pad tells the unit to deploy and stop when the spike engages the bottom. The App is the Monster C app you can download to your phone (see your app store as it is free). Then the app on your phone will connect by bluetooth to the unit. That will allow you to update the software in the unit if it's needed. The folks at PP are very supportive of their product. Always heard nothing but good things. Hope you get it all squared away. Love mine!
