I recently bought Mirage Compasses for me and my Fiance. Her Compass has a compass emblem on the front of the kayak on both sides. Hers also has two silver screws next to the rudder release rope. Any ideas why our two Compasses have the minor differences?

Likely slightly different vintages. The emblems are more recent.
