I'm looking at storing two Compasses - stacked - in a Harken Hoist with 145lb lifting capacity. Both yaks would be sitting hull-up with the one inch web straps of the hoist contacting the gunnels of the bottom yak. Looking for advice from Hobie rep on this setup.

Thanks in advance!

Replying to my own question here... :-)

I emailed Hobie and heard back from Howie Strech. He said this storage method should be fine as long as I used 2" straps.
