Would paracord work okay as a safety lanyard for the Mirage drive, or should I go with cable? |

I use paracord w/ small carbiners on either end. Works fine. |

For some reason I found the Hobie leash kit webbing 'stretched' over time. On our Hobies, I used a combination of bungie cord, heavy duty zap straps and a marine brass clip to make our leash kits. I zapped a loop on both ends of a bungie cord, with the clip in one of the loops. I zapped the other loop onto the button below the mast hole (works on our Revolution, Outbacks and Compass). I tied another loop onto the mirage drive. When using, I clip/unclip onto the mirage drive loop. |
