Has anyone used a sailkit with either a 2020 or 2021 Compass ? Trying to understand if a furlier kit is required.

I have a 2021 Compass Duo and I just installed the furler kit. However I store my compass upside down, so I did not permanently mount the fairlead to the kayak. Instead a made a piece of teak hold the fairlead and fastened the teak to the compass using the h track.

It's not required but highly recommended.

I have a 2019 Compass Duo and I bought the furler to go with my sail kit. It's not necessary but it's nice to have. It's faster to hand furl it. I use it for small adjustments so I don't have to lean forward.

How do you install the fair lead on the compass duo ?

Other hobbies seem easier , but the instructions and access on the compass are not great

Any tips or instructions would be greatly appreciated

Have a good day
