Hi everyone,

Hope you're all looking forward to the upcoming worlds. I'm looking at coming across from Australia to do the Grand Masters (possibly the Masters as well) and will need a crew, so am reaching out to the Hobie community for support. Details are:

My "fighting weight" is 83 KG, so am looking for a crew around the 55kg mark. I've done two worlds (one of those the World Masters games), plenty of nationals & state titles, plus club racing regularly. Would be about 5% off the top guys pace, and there are plenty of those down under.

Probably arrive 2 days prior for acclimatization, meet up with crew & friends.

So, if you or someone you know is interested could pass the word around who might be up for a typical blast on a Hobie 16, please put them in contact with me. I'll be paying the registration fee's, and for the right crew...........cover their accommodation costs.

Hope to hear back from someone.

Have a Hobie day!

I am available to crew in the 16 division. I will already be there competing in the women’s and have lodging. Hopefully just 150 pounds but working on it! No beer for a while haha. Currently 155 but hope springs eternal! Anyway a little about me.... been sailing hobie 16’s since I was 12 purchased my own in 1994 and I am 51 years young. I like to have to have fun and have crewed for many over the years. I can provide references if so desired...anyway it’s the 11th hour and maybe your crew can’t make it or you still havent’ found the perfect crew? Hit me up I don’t check in here very often so text me 970-596-9693 and we can see if it’s a good fit. My name is Laura Mitchell and I live in Crested Butte Colorado
