Hey guys/gals,
Just restored my 16 and I haven't "sailed" since my Dad had one when I was 7. I'm 42 and just put a ton of cash into "Joe" and don't want to damage it sailing right away. If you are in the Portland Oregon area and want to be a rock star and hop on the boat and show me the basics let me know! I'm a quick learner and gladly take criticism lol-John

Yeah I skipped the weekend...Had a new roof installed with 7 skylights and really wanted to be there for placement verification...Still a bit nervous about damaging the boat at my current skill level. Wind finder showed little wind too. Hopefully someone will take me up on my request one of these times too! Thanks for asking-John

Hi John,
It's a long drive, but if you want to come north to Bellingham, You can practice on one of my 16's or bring yours up for the weekend.
We have several cats that sail on lake Whatcom. Often we have 2 16's, Nacra 5.8, hobie 21, hobie 18, and a hobie Tiger.
The lake is large and typically has lots of wind.
We would be happy to help you get comfortable sailing a 16.

-Todd

Hello, cartapex,

My name is the sundance kid. I have experience sailing catamaran. Just recently, I've been looking at Hobies for sale. I live in Portland Oregon. When I saw your post, I was totally. Once I saw your post was from 2015 Well? Are you still sailing? If so, let me know, please. I'd be happy to assist as your first mate.

Kindest regards,

The Sundance Kid :D
