 Post subject: harken cleat

One jaw, on the cleat on my harken low profile blocks is not workling.Seems like the spring is gone.Is there a fix?

First try loosening the screw and nut that hold it to the blocks or swivel plate. Try flushing with water. There is an internal spring that may have jumped off or possibly it is just dirty. You can pop the red base plate off of the jaw set if you remove the jaws from the block. Inside you will see the two small springs that work the jaws.
