I have new EPO carbon rudders. Any tricks to drilling them? Do I just need to use my originals as templates?

Use a drill press if possible in order to keep the holes perpendicular to the rudder surface.

Also, place a block of scrap wood under the rudder hole locations when drilling so you don't split out or chip the bottom of the holes.
