Does anyone know what the square footage on a Pentex squaretop main for a H16 ? Does anyone know how they perform. Just checking before I buy.

I don't know the footage, but I love mine on my Hobie 17. GREAT in light air and really moves in the puffs. Bob Curry cut mine. You will love it.

Here is one for $500 if he still has it. GOOD price, I payed $1200 for mine.

Just to be sure you are aware... if you intend on racing, those sails are not class legal for the 16 or 17.

Yes I know. I have a stock Hobie sail when I have enough boat to make a clas. VERY rare in Div. 6 I use use it whenI race in Open class and racing Portmouth in the Wed. night races. http://www.clearlakeracing.com/ They have been going on for over 20 years. I live in Div 6 so we have open regatts. I usaully don'thave enogh 17's to make class. Wish I was in Div 11.
