Very nice. Is that really your sail number?

"1" seems kinda missing digits!

I can relate! My first car was a 1968 Camaro with a corvette low rise 454 transplant, Hurst 4 speed, glass packs and Daytona 50's out back. It is amazing that I survived that car....

David, no idea if they still make this stuff.I drive by the speed shops up here and it seems the market is now Japanese cars.
Hmmmm....gear heads turned sailors. What's the correlation here?Speed or the need to constantly work, tune or improve our rides?

Sorry "motivated" I've highjacked your thread.Thanks.

1981 model on Lake Hefner, Oklahoma CIty, OK.

Needs a new tramp and standing rigging for safety.

Everyone I take out loves it and has a blast!

This makes for a whole new thread but, I had a 1968 GT black Fastback Mustang. Later on, I picked up a '75 Hobie.

Definitely a need for speed.

The Hobie is to a hotrod like a monohull is to a land yacht.

I think they do, although they should be called pitchpole delay fins cause that's just what they do; delay the time it takes to bury a hull and those extra seconds of delay are usually enough to do something to avoid it. Also my cooler is usually full of beer or cans and cold saltwater so its helps if my reaction time is slower.

As a side bonus they are a great place to put a GoPro camera for some killer shots.
