Rescued what I believe to be a 1981 Gonzo H16 last summer...Had to patch the starboard hull, but for $150 what do you expect? Took a while to figure out the rigging, but she sure is fun!

Great Photo!! It looks like you got things sorted out well. I would consider tightening up the jib halyard, it looks like it is fairly loose in this picture. Thanks for sharing. |

ASDASC- Until I started reading the forums a few months ago (after the boat was pulled from its Michigan waters), I did not realize that the jib was supposed to take the load off the forestay! I thought it seemed loose, but knew that the forestay was supposed to be loose...now I know why! Nor did I understand mast rake.... oh well, next year! |
