Thx Matt. Good advice.

P.S. I wouldve bought the Hobie jib traveller upgrade but the illustration in the catalog seemed incomplete (to me)concerning the apparent absence of actual cleating for the jib sheet

Thx Hobie 1616..
and I suspect that is a great setup. I got my answer from Matt (criss cross) as I had the older riveted-on track style jib set up that utilized the old all-in one metal jaws floppy/spring loaded jib sheet/cleat traveler cars..(without the 2 swivel cam cleats mounted between the mast and track)
I have now upgraded using the same set up but uses a newer Ronstat combo camcleat traveler for jib sheeting and the newly mounted swivel cam cleats(between mast and track) to handle the traveler control duties.
Like the previous photos posted from James? Now that you are thoroughly bored..

I used that setup on two boats for 20 years. Other than replacing the bungee that pulled the cars to the center every year, it was bullet proof.
