I am a new Hobie owner of a 70ish 16'. My forestay cable (top part of mast to where it joins cables from front of pontoons) broke and I ordered one form an authorized dealer. When I installed it, it is about 10"-12" too short. The dealer says I was sent the correct cable for my year Hobie. Any suggestions?
Eric

Did your old one have a pulley block and a short cable attached at the top as would be appropriate for your year boat? These 2 items would account for the missing inches.
