This is supposed to be a 3-foil system but it's not shown very well. I asked the guy to provide more pics if possible. I don't have $$$ to spend but maybe someone here is interested...

Here's what the owner/guy says... Quote: It attaches to the four bolts that the tramp connects to the pontoons. I can take more pictures, I'm playing with it today trying to figure out the front foil adjustments. It uses 3 ropes to control the position of the front foil. the front are self adjusting for lift but it adjust out and in like sticking your legs out or in. just another element of control. but its not refined to look at. I have no instructions except flight lessons that seem to change every 5 knots, it has some cautions at 25kts boat speed in 15kt winds. it basically says to spill the power at that point or you might break a mast. That system looks incredibly heavy and overbuilt. At some point I think you just have to build a whole new boat. |
