Yes.

I have a 1983 Hobie sail color brochure and it's listed as a "Special Edition" which means the boat came with black anodized aluminum and a colored trampoline as part of an extra cost package.

Standard editions came with clear anodizing and a white trampoline.

That is clearly a 1979 Chevette.

You're right - they changed the front grille between '76 and '79.

Looks a lot like a Vega.

Both the Vega and Chevette were blocks of compressed and painted rust.

I kinda dig the flamer sails. Humm, mine don't look the same as those.

That's because a 14 mainsail has only 6 panels (on the old 5-batten main), whereas the 16 has 9 panels.
