The jib hank on my Hobie 16 jib sail does not fit properly on my new plastic-coated forestay. It needs to be slightly larger to accommodate the slightly larger diameter forestay. Does anyone know if larger jib hanks are available?

Just drill it out! If it breaks, it breaks. No big deal.

Or remove the forestay coating!

I had the same problem and I used a round file to make it a bit bigger, seems safer than drilling.

Thanks very much. Using a round file seems like the best plan.
