I just bought a used H16 and want to be able to pull it up using two 8 inch rollers on the grass shore of a small lake that I live on. I have a 2000 lb winch to do the pulling but I'm not sure where it is safest to attach the winch to the boat when I haul it up. The obvious choice seems to be the forestay adjuster but I'm not sure. Any suggestions? or can anyone refer me to some example installations? |

Do not pull it by the forestay adjuster. Take a loop around the front crossbar at the mast step and attach your winch cable there. |
