Word I heard were that they were longer (= jib higher, more mast rake). Class rules only specify minimum length - 44" pin to pin.

I have been trying to find answers about the bridle length. Class rules say a minimum of 44 inches.

Is it better to have a longer bridle or a shorter bridle? I understand that a shorter bridle will get the jib lower, but does bridle length have any relationship to the size of the slot at the top of the jib? :?: :?

You have a 7-10 hole adjuster plate up there to raise and lower the jib. 1" difference not gonna matter.

It seems like 1" makes a lot of difference. I already have the 10 hole adjuster turned upside down and put the jib in as low as as I can. But even with this setup I can't ever get block to block on the jib with any tension in the rig.

Shortening the bridal seems like it help me with this problem?

Thoughts???
