I want a beach cruiser for overnight camping (on beaches, I suppose), in the Gulf Islands of BC.
I am a bit concerned about tidal currents, because they are not so simple here (eg

How do you manage the risk of getting swept into the many rocks around here? Can you row a HC enough to avoid such a problem? mount a motor?
Any literature, or info on beach cruising a hobie cat is appreciated!
Also, is a HC 14 big enough for camping?
