It seems to me that the part of the hull holding the metal anchor for the shroud is not that thick and after years of usage, that part can weaken and get separated from the rest of the hull. Is there any test from the manufacturer to suggest at what strength would that part get ripped out of the hull ?
I would rather see the hull fail in water than on land so nobody gets hurt or killed.

On land or water the boat will blow over before the the hull fails at the shroud anchor. As the mast hits the ground on land you are more likely to have a bent or broken mast or shroud wire break before the hull fails. Unless your decks are soft I wouldn't worry too much about hull failure at the shroud anchors.
