Post subject:  Storing pontoons

I was going to hang my pontoons for winter storage in a warehouse this year to keep them safe. Has anyone had any sagging issues when they tried this? It would be easier for me to have them in slings than to try and hang them by the tramp posts.

Hobie 16... Hulls? No problem. Wide webbing slings at a few points along the hulls. No problem. They are not heavy and are very stiff.

Store? hulls? I have 3 16's - I leave them on the water. I have home made lifts of 2x4's with PVC rungs like a ladder, they slide up on them and I raise them up and prop wood under the end. This holds them about 12" above the water. When the water freezes they stay there all winter. I might push the 14" inches of snow off them a couple times a winter. In the spring they look ready to go. I do cover the tramps with a tarp to keep the UV of the sun off them.
