The very short answer is:

No.

There are no codes. There never have been. Not to mention that 28 year old gel coat is not the same color as it was when it was new. Color changes due to UV, surface degradation, catalyst levels, additives, etc all combine to make it nearly impossible to get a perfect match.

The best you can do is to try and match the color by eye. Even if you get a perfect match - over time, the patches will age differently that the rest of the boat and will become more visible.

This may not be a significant problem if the patches are relatively hidden (hull bottom, inside hulls under the tramp). But if you've got a lot of patches, it's probably better to spray the whole hulls either with new gel or a hard, polyurethane paint.

BTW, neither of those jobs are "inside" work, unless you've got a spray booth. Both gel and PU paint have toxic fumes and need climate control for proper curing. 2 part PU paint is especially nasty - from the MSDS, "Exposure to isocyanates may cause respiratory sensitization. This effect may be permanent. Symptoms include an asthma-like reaction with shortness of breath, wheezing, cough or permanent lung sensitization. This effect may be delayed for several hours after exposure. Repeated overexposure to isocyanates may cause a decrease in lung function, which may be permanent. Individuals with lung or breathing problems or prior reactions to isocyanates must not be exposed to vapors or spray mist of this product."
