Replacing my Mast Base.Buddy of mine has an air gun Riveter.Any problems with using this type of Rivit Gun?

Having a pneumatic rivet tool is great. Setting pop-rivets in one smooth pull results in stronger assemblies. Also less chance of marring surrounding surfaces. We used the air gun all the time in the rig shop.

Replaced my Mast Base and Step.Suprised to see how little contact there is between the ears on the Mast Base and the stoppers.seems like the ball on the Mast Base is almost too long?
