| Post subject: | Extra H16 parts FIT H14? |
I have extra parts to sell and someone with a H14 is asking if my H16 rudders, castings, arms and helm control cross bar (rudder control arm?) will work of my H16 and work ON HER H14? I think the arms and cross bar are shorter? But couldn't they easily be cut down to proper size? If so - what is the proper size for these to work on the H14? thanks! |

The rudders and castings are interchangeable. The 14 crossbar is definitely shorter as are, I would assume, the rudder arms. The 14 rudder arm is around 21" (the tube itself including the end cap connector) and is inset about 3" inside the upper casting. I wouldn't hazard a guess on the correct length of the crossbar. I have four and they are all different lengths and configurations (end caps). |
