Post subject:  dollys for pulling onto beaches

Our beaches were rocky this weekend and it was not fun pulling my 16 footer onto the rocks.

What do you guys use to prevent this? Dollys? Any further info?

I've made what I call ladder racks. Made from 1 1/4" pvc pipe, 1.5' wide, 7'long, using T fittings at each cross pipe and elbow at the ends. I put cross pipes about every foot. Filled them with sand as I glued it all together. They are easy to carry on my trailer, stay put on the rocks, in the water and my boat slides right up.

Cat Trax is another option...
Some more pvc ideas.

I thought cat trax was a given. Mine are electric, no pushing here!
