Anybody who bought these beautiful sails are interested in selling their old ones?

New ones are way out of my budget.
Thanks.

I just got an account for the forum so sorry I am a little late but are there any Blue Lagoon sets left? Any thoughts of if they would look good with my yellow halls with rainbow stripe stickers? I have the yellow matching sails but the blue lagoon would draw a lot of attention at regattas!!

I have a set, and they are beautiful!

Actually, I see that you are in CRAM, you may have seen them at Crescent.

Velcro battens, too!

Those Euro 2008 sails would look great on my boat. I too have yellow hulls with the multicolored stripes.

Question for the people that got these...

Any time I flip I get loads of water inside the clear pockets that were added to the bottom of the sails to hold team names/flags.
This is a PITA as it takes forever to dry out in there. I resort to propping the pockets open with chunks of foam when I get home to make sure it does dry out.
I am debating either cutting the windows right along the seams or ripping the seams out. Lots of stitch holes in the sails if I do that...
Anyone done similar with these??? Any sail experts care to chime in.

Large clear pockets can be seen in this pic. Bottom panel of main sail.

Without looking at it I would consider using a stitch ripper and removing the threads so the pockets falls off without damaging the sail itself.

What about putting something of your own personal design in the pockets and using some sort of clear tape to seal it up?
It would add a bit of personality to your boat and possibly be a cheaper alternative. Just a thought anyway.

I think water would find its way in. At least now I can prop the pockets open to dry out once I get home. Its a step I could do without though! I dont want the pockets to get all moldy though! Taping up my new sails sounds less than ideal. Thanks for reply tho!
