Do you still have the Austria sails ? Are these new or barely used ? How do I order a set ?

Just go into a dealer. They can order with those product numbers.

If I did that I think my dealer would think I was crazy. Actually she already does....

My dealer thought I was nuts when I mentioned it. I had to pull up this thread on my cell phone show it to them, and they said 'ok, I will try it'. Worked like a charm!

Yeah... we send dealers bulletins about this stuff, but they have a lot going on in their businesses, so I don't mind that they forget... they should like that we are sending them business that they don't (should) know about.

Order from a Hobie Catamaran dealer (not a kayak, sup or Wave only dealer) Using our Dealer Finder will direct you to the right one: http://www.hobiecat.com/dealers/ (select "Fiberglass Sailboats")

The little flaps hang up on the sail feeder and at the bottom of the comptip where the plastic luff track starts. It's a pain to get the sail up. I think I'm going to have to take it to a sail maker and ask them stitch the flaps down flat so they don't not hang. Anyone else seen this?

Garrett: I was looking back through this thread in anticipation of maybe getting new sails and noticed your post above. If you're using a separate sail feeder, I'd recommend that you consider ditching it. With newer sails where the boltrope is not continuous from the luff to the foot (around the tack) the bottom of the luff bolt rope can get hung on top of the feeder when the downhaul is loose. Then, if unnoticed, the sail can be ripped when downhauling, especially if you're using a 6:1. (Don't ask!)

In my experience with newer sails, the feeder is really unnecessary....they go up and down much easier than older sails. Unless I'm mistaken, few (if any) of the rock stars use them.

Recommend you give it a try without the feeder, and, if you decide leave it off, be sure to seal up the holes.

I bought the Austria sails and they look awesome and are near mint and practically brand new.

HI
I'm interest in know if you have the Tequilla sails still? I gather that thought they have been used a little that they are still in good condition with tears or rips?
Also where do they ship from? I may want to come pick them up.
Thanks Keith
