Want to pull trigger on a tequila set...curious as well.

Same here, even the wife liked them, but she just spend $4K on a freaking couch.................... ok, I cannot complain, I have raced jetski's, competed in Freestyle, Mountain Bikes, and now the Hobie, in 18 years of marriage she has never asked for anything expensive............ I would be a total jerk to say no......... but 4K on a freaking couch!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered up the blue lagoon and it was my understanding the sails were used for one event and like new

Another fleet 297 member just bought the boat Enrique sailed in the nationals. So the first time the boat will lose a race will be the first time it races against me. Lol! But he bought it with the red hibiscus sails and apparently they are just about all sold or very close to sold out. I wouldn't wait very long.

WoW they are some fantastic looking sails. I love the designs and the colours of the 'Euro 2010's. Such a shame your not able to post these down under.

I think we snagged 3 sets of the Tequila 2010's for Vallarta Yacht Club's boats to use for regattas.

I figure Tequila and VYC are a good fix ...

I got my Blue Lagoon Sails yesterday...

Got the fancy Velcro on the jib batten pockets I ain't sure how to use...

and while I haven't unboxed them completely yet (for lack of space) the main appears to have reefing grommets... :D

They look to be very lightly used.... I am very, very happy!

Now... Got to find some pictures of 113409 in action at the event!

Velcro jib pockets...

There is a strip of Velcro with a line loop sewn to the end... If that is inside the pocket.... insert the wide end of the stick between hook and loop to split and separate it from the internal pocket Velcro... pull the line loop out of the pocket.

Insert a batten trimmed to the length of the pocket.

Using the narrow end of the tool, insert it into the little pocket at the end of the velcro strip with the line loop attached. Shove into the pocket to get batten tension. The line loop can remain hanging out of the pocket.

To remove / loosen the batten, insert the wide end of the stick between hook and loop to split and separate it from the internal pocket Velcro.

Advantage? ZERO batten hanging out to avoid hang up on halyards and mast.

Just got my 2008 (yellow red swirl) set yesterday. The main looks barely used but the jib looks like it was used for months. They are not a matched set. The numbers don't match. Over all I think it's a good deal. They are much better than what I had. Can't wait to try them out!

We have another 2008 set that had a Hibiscus jib in it. I believe the 2008 didn't have a number on the jib. Maybe you got Hibiscus jib too? Look at the sail images...

What number main and jib?

This is actually the second set. The first set I ordered was the set with the hibiscus jib. I returned it because I did not want a mismatched set. That main sail was number 111114. I don't remember if the jib had a number. The main I just received is number 111144. Its matching jib is number 53.

Short jib batten-like tool should have come with it. If not... ask your dealer to get one for you.
