hi i agree there is a 16 for sale in australia that has hull numbers in the mid 300's and it is solid as a rock as well. maybe one of the old salts on here could tell us if there was more materials or different construction methods used on the very old 16's :?:

Im in Australia and doing up a Hobie Hull Number 391, not a soft spot on her just doing an intensive bottom job.

Not sure how old, but this workhorse/fishing H16 at Masirah Island, Oman looks vintage.
