I have a friend at work that's interested in sailing and possibly getting into a Hobie 16 for him and his girlfriend to sail.
He's never been sailing, but he's sharp and my gut feeling says if i could only get him a ride, he would most likely jump in with both feet!
I've been attempting to find some place that rents 16s, but I just can't find anything around.

I've owned and sailed 16s for a good part of my life, but don't have one at the moment.

Is there anyone out there that loves introducing people into the wonderful world of Hobie 16 sailing, around the DFW area? If so, I would love to try and set up a short ride for a wonderful couple, my friend and his girlfriend?

Thanks,
Steve..

Maybe try hooking up with one of the fleets in your area. Most active fleets tend to be very supportive of getting new sailors on the water.
