We recently took a trip down into Baja Mexico with the Hobie in tow, trailering about 2000 miles and camping along the way. We camped and sailed in Bahía de los Ángeles, Bahía Concepción in Baja California Sur and Bahia San Luis Gonzaga.
With the exception of breaking some leaf springs on the trailer while trailering at night for miles off-tarmac (and getting them replaced in a small fishing village) everything went great and the hobie really enjoyed exploring island in the warm clear waters.
Bahía Concepción was by far the best sailing, with winds kicking up to a steady 17kts everyday around 11am and dying down about sunset.
Here's some photos from the trip, I hope you enjoy!

When the wind died we broke out the beer and fishing pole.

Caught some sea bass off the hobie, who says it can't be a fishing platform? :D

Nice. Glad to hear the boat is doing well and being loved. Those washboard dirt roads have claimed several leaf springs over the years for me also. Never on a boat but a utility trailer and a camper. Beautiful photography. Maybe quit the day job and utilize your other artistic talents!

Beautiful pics. Haven't been to Baja since early 80's. Jealous here too! Glad it was a safe excursion for ya as well apparently.

BEAUTIFUL!

Those are great shots. Thank you for posting them...I've added the location to my TI "to do" list.
