We recently took a trip down into Baja Mexico with the Hobie in tow, trailering about 2000 miles and camping along the way. We camped and sailed in Bahía de los Ángeles, Bahía Concepción in Baja California Sur and Bahia San Luis Gonzaga.
With the exception of breaking some leaf springs on the trailer while trailering at night for miles off-tarmac (and getting them replaced in a small fishing village) everything went great and the hobie really enjoyed exploring island in the warm clear waters.
Bahía Concepción was by far the best sailing, with winds kicking up to a steady 17kts everyday around 11am and dying down about sunset.
