Took my new (used) Hobie 16 out yesterday. Boat was very pleasant to steer on starboard tack. However, the boat was very difficult to steer on a port tack. On Starboard tack, I constantly had to pull the rudder towards me with considerable effort. Sailing angles were the same relative to irons. Sail settings were the same either side. There isn't hardly any slop in my rudders. I cut my day short yesterday because I was exhausted. Thoughts on a remedy?
FYI - hopefully I have my verbiage correct. This is not tacking (opposite jibing), but sailing with the wind coming over the port side of the boat.
