Hello all!

My name is Austin Lee as many know me as "H boy" due to the massive "Hobie H" I have permanently on my back lol. I am attending the nationals this next week in Navarre, Florida and trying to make my boat as sealed up and as competitive as possible. I believe the steps and process will be a breeze but for my first time, I am a little skeptical about the challenge. Don't wanna make any mistakes before a big week of racing!

The big question that has brought me to the forums: Should I use acetone to remove the previously used silicone on the transom of the hulls and in the holes where the screws still have a little bit of silicone left over?

You may need to scrape off the old silicone... then clean up with Acetone.
