Hey guys, I've heard a number of people say not to trailer the rudders attached to the gudgeon because they can be damaged. So... I just bungeed them to the tramp as in the pic below. Is that what you guys do, or is there a better way?

I personally think that the minute it takes to remove the rudders makes possible gudgeon damage a moot point. I usually stow them in the back of my pickup.

When I had the Wave, I decked the trailer with plywood (inside the channel), covered in blue astroturf, and installed a bunch of eyes to bungee the rudders securely. It looked pretty sharp, almost factory because of the color match.
