They're stiffer, but there is still some lag picking up one hull and raising the other. You have alot of leverage lifting up by the front of the hull. I don't think you could make one that was totally stiff, at least not without adding a bunch of bracing. Bracing that would make it un-sailable/un-enjoyable.
