Post subject: Vintage Hobie 16?

I have a Hobie GCat 16 ("GCat 5 meter" written on the side). The hull ID ends in 74, with the number 260 before it MER26074. Would this then be considered a vintage Cat since it was manufactured early (1974) and was number 260? It has wide hulls and an older frame and trampoline style where there are grommets along 3 sides, and are attached with lines looped through the hull top. Any input would be appreciated.

Not a Hobie.

G Cat was one of many cats sold in the 70s and 80s.

There are several G-Cat owners in the Clearwater, FL area.
Also, Hans is in this area and he was the company's owner, etc.
