I broke the Tiller Crossbar Adjustable End Casting on my 1980 Hobie 16.
Any ideas how to remove it to replace it? It's very much corroded and stuck. I soaked it in PB Blaster but it's not budging.

Might be easier to push it into the tiller crossbar?

You could heat slightly (very little) with a bernzomatic plumber's torch. Spray wd 40 on as it cools. The penetrant will be drawn into joint. Try clamping large vise grip on tightly and wiggle back and forth. Clamping piece in vise and putting a 2 foot length of 2 inch diameter pipe over vise grips may aid your efforts. . A used one can easily be found on ebay as an easy resort.
