hello,

I would like to upgrade my downhaul system on my 16 (from a 1:1 to a 6:1) it's an expensive kit, i have found the blocks and the cleat for less, but not the piece to fix the bottom block to the mast.

Does someone have an idea on hom i cloud make this on my own ?

thanks !

Emile

It's the same part as the deck plate on the main traveler car (attached with SS machine screws and square nuts): https://www.hobie.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=67949
Maybe you can source an old car with busted bearings?

If not, it's only $5+ from a Hobie dealer:
