I'm still not sure, but maybe it had something to do with how someone had the trap bungee configured. There's one at each front pylon and one at the port side rear. All the lines and rigging were a jumble when I purchased it. Couldn't tell what went where...
Yes Matt, the photo shows the aluminum sheet swivel cam. There's one on each side to control jib sheet after going through the traveler.
I'm looking at the Kissme jib traveler upgrade dlx kit, but think (no experience) it would be better with a low profile like the 'knuckle duster' style. Less to get lines hung up on? Anyone use these as compared to the car and pulley in the kit?
Also, are there preferences on where to mount the cleat? Close to the corner or inboard? Swivel cleat vs. static mount?
Again for reference, I will be a solo crew.
Thanks for all the help with my questions! Hoping this week to step the mast for the first time now that the mast base has been replaced. Some questions may resolve themselves once I see it up. Still got to clean the sails, old and stained.
